Introduction to the Lord of the Flies
Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a novel that represents the very existence of evil that is within ourselves. It was presented in a way that most people would have thought about when they read the plot. It started with the main character, Ralph, who was alone on an uninhabited island until he met a not so fit boy who was referred to as Piggy. Both of them went off discussed on how they got into the island and finally saw a valuable item, a conch. Piggy told Ralph to blow the conch which he did. The sound of the conch was a siren to alarm the other survivors to meet where the two main characters were. Once everyone has gathered, it was the start of a new civilization. Will they make rules and stick to it until they get rescued? Or are they going to turn into creatures that kills without hesitations?
